Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class- the third generation of a compact two-seat roadster, introduced in 2011. The car has an automatic two-section hardtop with the ability to change the transparency of the panoramic section. The process of lowering the top takes 20 seconds, and the electric drives can be activated at speeds up to 15 km / h. As an option, the Airscarf system (from the English air scarf) is offered, which, thanks to the deflectors built into the headrests, can warm the air in the head and neck area of passengers, ensuring comfortable movement with the roof down even in cool weather.
Three types of suspensions are available for the roadster - standard, sporty and adaptive.
The range of gasoline engines consists of two modifications of a 1.8-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine (184 or 204 hp), as well as a 3.5-liter atmospheric V6 (306 hp). Paired with turbocharged engines, either a six-speed “mechanics” or a seven-speed automatic can work. "Atmospheric" is aggregated only by automatic transmission.
It is also possible to order a diesel modification of the model, which is equipped with a 2.1-liter engine with 204 hp.
The most powerful version of the model is the sports version of the Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG, under the hood of which is a 5.5-liter V8 unit that produces 421 hp. and 540 Nm of torque. The gearbox is a seven-speed "robot". Acceleration to a hundred kilometers per hour in a “charged” roadster takes only 4.6 seconds.
