The most powerful gasoline engine is a 525-horsepower 6.3-liter V8, which is installed on the sports version of the E 63 AMG. The peak torque of the engine is 700 Nm. In this case, the sedan takes only 4.3 seconds to accelerate to “hundreds”.

For diesel modifications of the E200 CDI, E220 CDI and E250 CDI, there are three modifications of the 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine, the power of which is 136, 170 and 204 hp. respectively. As a transmission for them, both a six-speed manual and a seven-band automatic are possible. Three-liter diesel engine with 231 hp. offered exclusively with automatic.

The possibility of installing a 4Matic permanent all-wheel drive system depends on the selected engine. It is offered only for petrol modifications E350, E500 and diesel version E350 CDI.

The main competitors of the sedan in the Ukrainian market are Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Infiniti M, Jaguar XF, Lexus ES And Volvo S80.
